I've taken photos for around 14 years by now. I started young and I had some innocent fun with it and I didn't take it seriously at all. It was in high-school that I decided to go deeper into photography and study the foundations. Man, I don't even want to think about high-school... Those photos really sucked. Basically, I started getting into filmmaking and photography sort of parallel during school. It was by the end of high-school that I also got introduced to shooting on film. Some of my teachers showed me the basics and how to approach it and then one of them proceeded to lend me their 35mm camera (thanks), and on I went shooting my first roll. I decided to buy a 35mm camera myself soon after - a Canon AE-1. The same camera that I still use today for most of work. By the end of high-school I decided to study filmmaking. After a gap-year I did the big move and decided to study filmmaking in Leeds, England for three years. Upon returning to Norway I picked up some gigs as a freelance real-estate photographer. I ended up shooting for property agents for around 3 years. A time during which I had lived in Oslo for a year and later for a year and a half in Aarhus, Denmark. Now I'm mainly committing to producing personal/original work.
